Convergence Lab

A 2014 residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts bringing together seven artists to explore where art and technology intersect. Working under the guidance of Montreal-based creative firm Moment Factory, the group developed collaborative installations that responded to both environmental elements and audience participation during the Convergence Summit.

The residency centred on core questions: How does one create a multi-sensory experience involving and responding to the public? How can technology be made invisible? How can we augment nature with technology to create a symbiotic convergence?
