Forest Awake

An interactive exhibit proposal for the 2023 Lumiere Festival. The work explores the regenerative nighttime processes of plants and trees, imagining them awakening from winter dormancy.

As trees emerge from their winter rest, what narratives might they communicate among themselves and with us? The installation celebrates forest ecology's interconnected systems and examines how individual people relate to the natural world.
